FITZGERALD -- James Robert "Bobby" Boggus, 64, of Fitzgerald, died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton following a courageous battle with ALS. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Arbor Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Lloyd Stembridge and the Rev. Terry Cole officiating. Interment will follow in the Fitzgerald Family Cemetery, Wilcox County. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Wednesday evening at Arbor Baptist Church.
The family requests those desiring to send memorials may send them to Arbor Baptist Church Building Fund, 1137 N. Merrimac Drive Extension, Fitzgerald, GA 31750.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Tift Regional Medical Center, especially the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit.
