ALBANY, Ga. — Clinton Johnson had built up a strong lead Tuesday and mainatined it for a win in the Dougherty County Commission 3 race, according to unofficial numbers from the elections office.
With only provisional ballots uncounted, Johnson defeated Louise Primrose with 64.3 percent of the vote — 769 votes to Primrose’s 426 ballots.
Johnson will start his four-year term on the commission in January. He will replace County Commissioner Muarlean Edwards, who will complete her lone term in December.

Congrats on your win. I just hope you have the patience to deal with a few of the strong opinionated commissioners who have been around for a while. They really don't have a clue how to manage a budget, don't know how to come up with new ideas for reducing expenses, and then they try to make it seem like you are the problem by making political statements such as "I have done everything I can to find ways to save money for the tax payers", and "I don't see any way at all to make any more cuts". Time for these dinosaurs to melt away into the tar pits.

I don't think this is our beloved "coachjohnson" is it? Nah.....he's too smart, too good looking, too churcy, and too eloquent. And he's a Winner.
