ALBANY, Ga. — The Walmart located on Ledo Road will host a charity car and bike show Saturday to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network, officials with Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital say.
The show will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is open to everyone, and the $25 car or bike entry fee will serve as a donation to the hospital, coordinators say.
“We’re inviting car clubs, old-school cars, showstoppers, anyone who wants to show off their vehicle,” Lisa Knox, an organizer for the event, said in a news release.
The store is arranging for entertainment, food, inflatable bounce houses, an auction and other activities.
All proceeds will go to Children’s Miracle Network at Phoebe, officials say.
Founded in 1982, Children’s Miracle Network allows for 100 percent of all funds to go directly to member hospitals in the region in which they are raised to provide medical treatment to children.
For more information, or to make a donation to the show, call Knox at (229) 889-9655.
