Vows to be Exchanged

Mr. W. Leonard Askew of Leesburg and

Ms. Donna B. Askew of Albany announce the

engagement of their daughter, Alysha Marie Askew of

Albany to John Thomas “J.T.” Kimsey, Jr. of Ft. Carson,

Colorado Springs, Colorado, son of Mr. and Mrs. John

Kimsey of Sylvester.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of

Mrs. Yvonne Boyd of Lexington, S.C. and the late

Reverend Johnny Boyd.

Miss Askew is a 2006 graduate of Lee County High

School and is employed by the City of Albany as an

Emergency Dispatcher.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of

Rev. and Mrs. Bill McCamon, of Baconton and Mrs.

Margaret Kimsey and the late Otis Kimsey

of Baconton, Georgia.

He attended Worth County High School and is

currently serving in the United States Army, stationed

at Ft. Carson, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The wedding is planned for July 14, 2012 at 5:00 p.m.

at the First Baptist Church of Putney.
