ALBANY -- Elect Lady Dr. Earlene W. Brown was born January 19, 1946 to the late Mr. Aaron Williams and the late Mrs. Lovie Sims Crumbley in Newton, Baker County, GA. She went home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2012 at Wilson Hospice House.
She received Christ at an early age, was saved and sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost in 1963 under a gospel tent in Newton. She then became a member of Baker County Holiness Church. She became First Lady of the House of Prayer by Faith Church God's Hospital, June 1977, where her husband, Bishop Dr. Henry M. Brown serves as Pastor. She was a faithful servant of God until her demise. She was also a great Teacher/Preacher. Her late two sermons were "SHAKE YOUR SELF LOOSE" and "WAKE UP JESUS". What wonderful and inspiring messages they were.
Sister Brown was a 1963 diploma graduate with honors of East Baker High School Newton, GA. She was a 1967 gradate of Albany State College University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, the Dougherty County Health Department, and Turner Job Corps Center for years. She also taught Health Occupations at Worth County High School in Sylvester, GA for twelve years. She received her Doctor of Theology Degree, August 2003, from North Carolina College of Theology at Wilmington, NC, Dr. J.L. Cook, president.
Forty two years ago, today, Elect Lady Brown married Bishop/Dr. Henry M. Brown. To this union, three very fine children were born, Levoski, Sr., Yohanne, Doliah Derrelle, and an adopted son, James. From these, nine biological grandchildren, two step-grand, and one god grandson were born.
She leaves to mourn her passing a devoted husband, Bishop Dr. Henry M. Brown for 41 years 11 months 21 days; four children: Levoski, Sr., Yohanna, and Doliah Derrelle and James. Two daughters-in-law, Stephanie and Keturia Brown; one son-in-law, Roderick Collins; four sisters: Patricia, Beatrice, and Janet Williams and Cynthia Sherrod; eight brothers: Larry, Curtis, Earnest, Bland, Jr., Allen, and Rodney Crumbley, Milton and Alphonso Williams; grandchildren: Kierra, Levoski, Jr., Malik, Jameal, Kenji, Jr., Cai Savion, Dekyria, Emmanuel, Cameron, Antonio, Jaleen, and L.J.; two loving goddaughters, Anitria Michelle and Marcia Dejournet, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on June 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Greater Grace Church of God in Christ with Apostle Stephen Stallworth, Pastor, and Bishop Dr. Henry M. Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Garden Cemetery.
