The Albany Police Department asks the community for its help in locating 54-year-old Artis Thomas of Albany. He is wanted for theft by taking around 9 p.m. on May 7 at 1615 E. Broad Ave.
Thomas was described as a black man standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds in police reports.
"On the above date, Thomas entered the business without permission and stole money from his employer, McCollum Cleaners," said Phyllis Banks, police spokeswoman. "Since the incident occurred, Thomas has called and threatened the victim several times."

Crime Stoppers is an anonymous tipline. People with information could become eligible for cash rewards.
