ALBANY Police say a man claiming to be armed robbed a Slappey Boulevard pharmacy overnight.
The robber, described as a white male with a shirt draped across his face, walked up to counter of the Rite Aide pharmacy, 2425 N. Slappey Blvd., with his hands in his pockets as if he had a weapon concealed, police reports state.
The bandit demanded money from the register and the cashier complied. The robber walked out of the business and fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash, Albany police say.
The report was released at 2:25 a.m. today but did not say when the robbery occurred.
