ALBANY — Seniors are welcome to join in the ninth annual Senior Citizen’s Prom. The event will begin Friday at 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Albany Civic Center, 100 West Oglethorpe Blvd.
Sponsors for this event include, Albany Recreation & Parks, MCLB and Albany Police Department. The theme for the prom this year is “A Red Carpet Affair.”
Tickets are $10 per person or $15 a couple. They can be purchased at the Albany Recreation & Parks office, 1301 N. Monroe St. Dancing, beverages and appetizers will be offered. After 5 p.m. attire is suggested.
If you would like to attend and do not have a dance partner, one will be provided by MCLB and the Albany Police Department.
