Girls Inc. searching for new executive director

ALBANY — The Board of Trustees of Girls Inc. of Albany has launched a search for a new executive director and are accepting resumes through June 29.
“We are confident that Girls Inc. of Albany will find a qualified candidate to step into the role of executive director of our organization, known throughout the community, region and the Girls Inc. network as one that is fiscally responsible and whose solid, data-backed programming empowers all girls to reach their potential,” said Barbara Rivera Holmes, president of the Girls Inc. Board of Trustees here.
The new executive director will be responsible for general organizational administration and management of staff. The position requires a background in marketing, public relations and fund development.
The position became open when LaKisha Bryant accepted a position with United Way.
