ALBANY -- Albany Technical College will host its 7th annual Community, Family and Friends Day 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the main campus.
The theme for this year's event is "Real World Training." As part of this annual event, Albany Tech will also be holding its Car and Bike Showcase.
Tech officials say this is an excellent time for auto enthusiasts from all over to enter their vehicles in competition. There is no entry fee and the winners receive first, second and third place awards.
Albany Tech's faculty and staff will provide guests with information about the college's academic programs, financial aid, student activities and career options. Prospective students and their families can tour the campus, visit program labs for hands-on demonstrations, and learn firsthand about ATC.
Visitors will find a live radio remote featuring WJIZ 96.3's "The Big Scoop" radio personality, free food, children's games, live music from the 7th High Band and Roman Hopper, a petting zoo by Chehaw and more.
