Man wanted for theft of leaf blower
ALBANY — Alphonso Anderson (aka Dean Anderson, 46, is wanted by the Albany Police Department for stealing a leaf blower in May on the 1500 block of West Third Avenue. Officers are asking for the community’s help in locating Anderson, who faces a felony charge of theft by taking.
According to a wanted report, Anderson’s last known address is 900 Friendship Drive, Albany. He has also been seen frequenting 1310 W. Highland Ave. He could be driving a green Chevrolet Tahoe with Georgia tag BDS 6442.

ALBANY POLICE: APD responded to at least 47 incidents Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Pedestrian under the influence on the 1100 block of South Cleveland Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 500 block of West Mercer Avenue, the 500 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 100 block of Cordele Road, the 1300 block of East Roosevelt Avenue, the 500 block of Haley Street, the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road and the 2400 block of Dawson Road;
— Burglary on the 100 block of Stepping Stone Lane, the 1300 block of South Mock Road, the 200 block of Marie Road, and the 1700 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Acquiring gas without paying on the 2800 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Arson on the 700 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
—Entering auto on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive, the 100 block of Harding Street and the 1100 block of North Westover Road;
— Assault on the 1700 block of Malone Drive;
— Recovered contraband, a small amount of marijuana on the 500 block of Cockburn Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of Jefferson street, 400 Alice Avenue, 900 Cherry Avenue and the 1000 block of South Davis Street;
— Missing juvenile on the 300 block of West Mercer Avenue;
— Recovered property, a bicycle on the 1800 block of Seay Court;
— Reckless conduct on the 1300 block of Towering Pines Lane;
— Vandalism (domestic) on the 800 block of Ninth Avenue;
— Assault (domestic) on the 600 block of Bonneyview Avenue.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Services responded to 58 calls on Tuesday.
There were 46 medical calls and 11 trauma calls. Medical Calls and trauma calls included, but were not limited to, eight respiratory issues, two chest pains, 28 various medical calls, six falls and one vehicle crash victim.
