ALBANY — The Albany Panthers will begin their 2012 playoff run against the Columbus Lions on Saturday in the Albany Civic Center.
The Panthers (10-2) are 2-1 against the Lions this season, but Columbus was one of the two teams to beat Albany this season.
Albany is the No. 1 seed but is coming off a 67-66 loss to Richmond, while Columbus (6-6), which is the No. 4 seed, beat Knoxville on Saturday, 76-63.
Tickets for Saturday’s playoff game are $10 in advance and $15 on game day. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
In the other PIFL semifinal game, No. 2 Richmond hosts No. 3 Louisiana.
