ALBANY -- John (Johnny) Cochran, III, 69, of Albany, GA died June 13, 2012. His funeral services will be held Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at New Jerusalem Pentecostal Faith, Inc., Albany, GA. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Elder Jason Cochran will preside.
He accepted Christ and his calling to the ministry at Monroe Street COGIC under the late Bishop J. Howard Dale. He later became the Assistant Pastor of New Jerusalem Pentecostal COGIC under the leadership of Jerry Cochran, and was a member of Promise Land COGIC until his demise. John retired from Bob's Candies, Inc., Albany, GA.
He was a native of Camilla, GA. and later moved to Albany, GA. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Belinda Cochran, three brothers: Charlie Louis Cochran, Chester Napolean Cochran, and Joe Louis Cochran, and one sister, Emma McDougald.

Cochran, three sisters, Evangelist Lillie Ruth Ziegler (Elder Grady Ziegler) of Queens, NY; Evangelist Elizabeth Johnson, Evangelist Dorothy Mingo (David), brothers: Elder Jerry Cochran (Geraldine), Timothy Cochran, Elder Samuel Cochran, and Michael Cochran, all of Albany, GA; two brother-in-laws, Robert D. Gibson of Savannah, GA and Benjamin B. White, Jr. of Miami, FL, one sister-in-law, Evangelist Gwendolyn Robertson of Savannah, GA, and mother-in-law, Helen White; Grandchildren, Keneathia Stubbs, Leesburg,GA; Victor Stubbs, Jr. of Tucson, AZ; Kelvin Hawkins of Leesburg, GA, Amber Cochran of Jacksonville, FL, Aja Cochran, Arterius Cochran, Jr., Aaliyah Watson, Jordan Cochran, Jaelyn Redding, Ashyria Houston, Antonio Houston, Keon Kelly and Kira Wheeler, all of Albany, GA, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
