ALBANY -- James Malcolm Bailey, 80 of Albany, GA, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Willson Hospice House. A memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Crown Hill Mausoleum. Dr. Ronald R. Baxley and Rev. Ben D'Amico will officiate.

A native of Hazelhurst, GA, Mr. Bailey has resided in Albany most of his life moving from Hazelhurst. He was the owner and operator of JMB Trucking and was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church. Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by a son, James Barry Bailey, a granddaughter, Brittany Brier Daniel, two brothers, Jack Bailey and Roy Bailey and a sister, Hazel Casey.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Goodman Bailey of Albany, GA, a daughter, Charlotte B. Daniel and her husband, Andy of Albany, GA, a brother, Ralph Bailey of Austin, TX, two sisters, Grace Brown and her husband, Robert of Metairie, LA, Birdie Hill and her husband Ed of Rockdale, TX, four grandchildren, Cherish French and her husband, Jeremy, Zach Bailey, Destiny Cook and her husband, Michael and D.J. Daniel and his husband, Ashlee and seven great-grandchildren, Jessica French, Tyler Cook, Logan Dale, Cailyn French, Phin French, Church Whiting and Penbrooke Daniel.

The family is at the residence of Charlotte and Andy Daniel, 2011 River Pointe Drive, Albany, GA 31701.

The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at Crown Hill Mausoleum.
