Joy Knighton
ALBANY, Ga. — Joy Knighton of Albany Technical College will be one of 33 technical college executives from Georgia participating in the Technical College System of Georgia’s Executive Leadership Academy for 2012-13.
Knighton, dean of Academic Affairs for the Technology, Business, Personal and Public Services Division at Albany Tech, was nominated to attend by ATC President Anthony Parker.
The academy is designed to acquaint participants with the leadership and managerial responsibilities of technical colleges. Topics to be covered include ethics, board operations, institutional effectiveness, accreditation issues and strategic planning.
