Mr. and Mrs. Karl and Denise Merritt of Fayetteville,

NC, along with Mr. and Mrs. Billy and Brenda Williams

of Albany, GA, are pleased to announce the engagement

of Hope Merritt (Stafford, VA) and Zedryck Williams of

Albany, GA.

Hope is the daughter of Karl Merritt and the late Jean

Merritt, and stepdaughter of Denise Merritt. She is the

granddaughter of Rev. Milton Merritt (deceased) and

Alice Merritt of Albany, GA and Ruth Merritt (deceased)

of Camilla, GA. Hope is a graduate of North Stafford

High School in Stafford, VA and earned a Bachelor’s degree

in Business Marketing at Georgia Southern University

in Statesboro, GA. Employed by United Vanlines,

Hope is currently a graduate student at Mercer University.

Zedryck is the son of Billy and Brenda Williams of Albany,

GA and the grandson of Mr. J.W. Williams (deceased)

of Arlington, GA, Mrs. Wylene Williams

(deceased) of Blakely, GA, Mr. Charles Jenkins and Ms.

Georjia Jenkins (deceased) of Leary, GA. Zedryck is a

graduate of Monroe Comprehensive High School in Albany,

GA and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science/

Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University. He

is currently employed by WellPoint as a Health Coach.

The wedding is planned for August 4, 2012 in Alvaton,

GA.
