ALBANY, Ga. -- With little more than a month before voters cast ballots in a July 31 primary, candidates from contested local races will discuss their platforms with interested listeners Saturday.
While it's a part of Ward I Commissioner Jon Howard's monthly town-hall meetings, the forum is open to anyone.
The meeting will start at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Albany Police Department Law Enforcement Center on at 201 West Oglethorpe Boulevard.
All candidates set to speak Saturday will be on the July 31 ballot.
At least one GOP candidates squaring off in the Republican Primary for the 2nd Congressional District on July 31 will speak at this event.
