ALBANY — An information technology applications support specialist with the Dougherty County School System has been indicted by a Dougherty grand jury.
Nanette Marie Hagood was indicted Wednesday afternoon on five felony counts — theft by taking, financial transaction card theft, financial transaction card fraud, computer theft, and computer forgery.
The grand jury presentment charges that Hagood on or about Nov. 18 unlawfully obtained property belonging the the Dougherty County School Board. Count two accuses Hagood of obtaining a financial transaction card with the intent of defrauding the owner. Count three charges Hagood with using the card for the purpose of obtaining money. Count four accuses Hagood of computer theft by using the card with the intent of appropriating money.
Count five charges Hagood with creating, altering and deleting a tangible document, committing forgery.
The Dougherty County Sheriff’s Department has yet to make an arrest in the case.

At the time of this posting she has not been arrested because we got the indictment before the warrant had reached sheriff's office. We will run the mug shot as soon as we can obtain it from the SO.

Yes, there is good news it just not breaking news and the people that blog wouldn't know what to do. They would stop blogging before they would say something good about the DCSS. The Albany Herald and Walb have learned that some in Dougherty County love the negative reporting of DCSS.

Albany is simply has become SCAM City were a large portion of the population are 2 and 3 and 4th generation welfare and other govermnet special programs. Basically, morals are in the gutter and there is no will to do an honest days work. Children are taught at an early age that is is ok to steal from the Man. Everybody wants something and it is usually what is not theirs. Thieves are attacking air condition units at Churches and Doctors offices as well as residents and business men. God help Albany!! The DCSS has gotten a reputation and rightly so as being corrupt that the children that attend think this is all the normal morals of life. School Board memners and Principals submitting false information to take free lunches. Amazing!!!!!!!!

Welfare security is lax and that encourages fraud. Morals deteriorate and lying, cheating and outright theft become acceptable. When you see others get ahead by lying,cheating,stealing the temptation to emulate for some is to strong. Dogs steal from each other. It is an animal instinct.

DCSS has a photo that goes on her badge. Would be nice if they let us know where she works. If it was a school, it probably would get caught quicker.
