Poliice/Fire/EMS report for June 29, 2012

ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 51 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Theft by taking on the 900 block of Van Deman Street, the 200 block of Hillside Drive, the 900 block of South Maple Street, the 400 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 200 block of Cone Street and the 1000 block of Holland Drive;

— Burglary on the 400 block of Alice Avenue, the 1000 block of Blakley Court, the 2200 block of Habersham Road and the 900 block of Willow Oak Court;

— Missing person on the 400 block of Tift Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 2600 block of Cardinal Street;

— Aggravated assault on the 500 block of Residence Avenue and the 1700 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Recovered property, street signs found behind a shed on the 2800 block of Doublegate Drive;

— Recovered property on the 1000 block of East Edgewater Drive;

— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue;

— Battery, vandalism (domestic) on the 900 block of Holloway Avenue;

— Assault (domestic) on the 800 block of First Street;

— Burglary, assault (domestic) on the 600 block of Flint Avenue;

DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 65 calls on Wednesday.

.265There were 43 medical calls and 21 trauma calls and an assist to Albany Fire Department. Medical Calls and trauma calls included:

— Two chest pain, two respiratory calls, 27 various medical calls, 17 vehicle crash victims and two falls.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to incidents including:

— Three activated alarms, public safety program, two unattended cooking, two electric shorts, smoke odor, power line down, intentionally roll of toilet paper set on fire in boys room at school, grass fire, three false alarms, motor vehicle crash, unauthorized burn, vehicle fire, assist EMS, trash bin fire and a trash can fire.
