Police/Fire/EMS - June 30, 2012

ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 61 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- A female Turner Job Corps student reported sexual battery, fondling, on the 2000 block of Schilling Avenue;

-- Theft by taking on the 700 block of Westover Boulevard, the 900 block of West Mercer Avenue, the 200 block of Acorn Street and the 200 block of West Society Avenue;

-- Assault on the 300 block of West Second Avenue;

-- Terroristic threats and acts on the 600 block of Johnson Road, the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 200 block of School Street;

-- Battery on the 2500 block of Dawson Road, the 600 block of Pinson Road and the 1000 block of North maple Street;

-- Entering auto on the 900 block of West Mercer Avenue and the 700 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

-- Deceased person on the 1600 block of Owens Avenue;

-- Forgery on the 800 block of Seventh Avenue;

-- Missing juvenile on the 2400 block of Hemlock Drive;

-- Misuse of 911 on the 800 block of West Lincoln Avenue;

-- Aggravated assault on the 200 block of Davis Street;

-- Motor vehicle theft on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

-- Burglary on the 1900 block of West Broad Avenue and the 300 block of Johnson Road;

-- Disorderly conduct on the 1700 block of South Madison Street and the 600 block of Cotton Avenue;

-- Criminal trespass (domestic) on the 1100 block of East Tift Avenue and the 2000 block of Hubert Avenue;

-- Battery (domestic) on the 2200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

-- Assault (domestic) on the 1200 block of Oakridge Drive;

-- Domestic disturbance on the 1400 block of South Jackson Street;

-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 2600 block of Flynn Court, the 1200 block of Eager Drive, the 1800 block of Weatherbee Court, the 800 block of Hobson Street, the 100 block of North Central Avenue, the 1500 block of West Highland Avenue and the 500 block of 10th Avenue.


Dougherty County police responded to at least six calls, according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

-- vehicle crash into deer on the 3100 block of Leary Road;


The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 61 calls on Thursday.

There were 51 medical calls and 10 trauma calls. Medical Calls and trauma calls included:

-- Nine respiratory calls, five chest pains, three faints, 25 various medical calls, four vehicle crash victims and two falls.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to six incidents.

-- Four EMS assists, an overheated air conditioner and an overheated clothes dryer.
