"Who knows what else?" The next thing will be when over 50% of US citizens and illegal immigrants are permanently taking more from the government (national, state, and local) than they put in which means the Death of America.

Go back to work, sorry, I meant sleep.

0

Bubbavet_rureel 1 year, 9 months ago

Support the President, he is not the King, I am.

0

Abytaxpayer 1 year, 9 months ago

Sister I disagree..I think if the King is not dethroned he will first decide everyone must go green and use his high price solar and wind and drive his government issued Volts or be Fined or is it taxed or is it fined no no I think it will be called tax the workers MORE and give it to the loafers......what ever he will be trying to force more working people to be more government dependent.

Come on Coach you see the future so great under your King tell us about it..

0

Bubbavet_rureel 1 year, 9 months ago

Abytaxpayer keep paying taxes, however, you dont make six figure, so stop bickering. The bill will help you!

What, you're mad because I called you out, are you mad because of your annual income.

The Real six figure Deal, the tax will apply to me and Coach income.

0

Abytaxpayer 1 year, 9 months ago

BVR your so "SMART" please help me...I just got notice that after 15years with the same DR. he is droping patients now because he can not afford the changes Your King will be making in his payments for his services. So now along with 1000s of new patients many of us that had a DR. must find a new DR. willing to work for what your King is willing to pay.

Yep your right I am also mad because alot of what I WORK for is taken from me and given to folks who choose not to work. Not the weak just the lazy ones. And BIG money BIG Mouths like you want me to pay even more to support your lazy friends.

There are days when I want to cry for our Country. Whatever happened to the Bible verse that says, if a man does not work he shall not eat, days? Yes, healthcare is very expensive, but that is due to the rampant abuse of those people who are currently on it and the ever decreaseing decline of healthcare competition. The hard-working middle class citizens of the United States does not need more mandates or more of Big Brother telling us what we can and can't do, what we have to pay to support those who should support themselves, and how we should spend what little that is left in our pockets. The truth is, we have more power then some would like, we need to uitilize that power and VOTE people out of office. VOTE for repeal of unwanted, undersirable tax laws. VOTE for reduction in services and finances for those that can and should work. VOTE for any one but Obama into the White House. VOTE, people, VOTE.

1

Bubbavet_rureel 1 year, 9 months ago

Vote yes, but know what you're voting for, 4 more years Obama.

It is not the users of the insurance, it is the insurance companies and the costs associated with medical care. Why can't a nurse wheel my bed; why does there have to be a transport aide? Why can't janitors clean the messes; why are there CNA's? Why does every little ailment warrant a test or an xray or a specialist? Why does insurance pay for annual check-ups? Should it be for catastrophes only?

2

Bubbavet_rureel 1 year, 9 months ago

That's right, reform the Heath Care Management.

1

gotanyfacts 1 year, 9 months ago

I don't run a hospital so I can't even suggest answers to most of those questions. But in regard to the overuse of tests, a doctor who uses reasonable judgment in not running a test and fails to detect a condition that was only remotely indicated will be sued. It's part of the expectation that everyone but me should be perfect. Also, the argument for paying for checkups is that early detection and treatment will be less expensive than treatment of advanced illness.

1

erudite 1 year, 9 months ago

The MD will only be sued of the person is looking for cash. The US is quite the litigious society. Americans sue over everything. Early detection is BS; what can be prevented? Those diseases 'detected' are managed, not cured. So why the checkup; the symptoms will be the same.

I do not believe that people receiving medical assistance can choose a primary care physician; they are forced to the hospital for the common cold, etc.

1

gotanyfacts 1 year, 9 months ago

Yes, usually the legal action is in pursuit of money and even if the doctor wins, there is a huge expense in defending even the most frivolous action. You are only partially right with regard to detection. Some diseases are quite curable. As for being able to choose a primary care physician, I'm in the dark there.

0

VSU 1 year, 9 months ago

The tests & X-rays help find your ailment to avoid those catastrophes. What about those people using taxpayers money to go to the emergency room for a common cold? Take aspirin or cold medicine and get plenty of rest. They go the emergency room for a small splinter in their finger. Hell, get a needle & tweezers and problem solved. They get a small cut on their finger, hell put some peroxide and a bandage on it. Are their no people left than can take care of the simple things themselves?

0

erudite 1 year, 9 months ago

As I wrote to gotoanyfacts, I do not think that recipients can get a primary care physician; I think they have to use the hospital. That recipients use it for small things is ignorance of home health remedies; time to return to homeopathic medicine and knock out Big Medicine.

0

chinaberry25 1 year, 9 months ago

No, there will be a revolution in this country. May not be too far into the future. Folks are mad as ....In two years when it goes into effect, the only ones that will hurt are the folks already on a health plan. Their rates will skyrocket and it will force them off of the plan. Then they will pay the penality (oops tax) to get around it. Most politicians know that you use more healthcare the last year of your life than any other time. By then you are on Medicare. Mess with that and you are dead in politics. What no one has said is about states and Medicaid. There is something there and each state can regulate it. If so, it is time for Georgia to cut back.

0

Bubbavet_rureel 1 year, 9 months ago

Read the health care bill and be glad it passed. Give people jobs so they can pay their way.

Limited Government is great, however, we have to protect the weak.

0

gotanyfacts 1 year, 9 months ago

Interesting concept seeing that the legislators did not read it before passing it. Remember Pelosi's comment that it had to be passed before we would know what was in it. What page are you on, _rureel?

0

Bubbavet_rureel 1 year, 9 months ago

It passed and it's constitutional. What planet are you on?

Coach you're smiling again!

0

gotanyfacts 1 year, 9 months ago

And it's bad for a nation founded on the priciple of individual freedoms and responsibilities. How do you feel about legislation passing without being read, a Speaker of the House who is comfortable not knowing what is in a bill she is passing and a ruling that gives a future congress the power to tax you for not buying a product you don't want but congress says you should? What page are you on? ;)

0

erudite 1 year, 9 months ago

Um, remember the USA PARTIOT Act? That was "read" and "signed" by ABSENT members of Congress at 2 AM!!!!

0

gotanyfacts 1 year, 9 months ago

Just as bad. But I guess it's what we get when we keep electing politicians rather than citizens who do their stint and return to private life. Term limits anyone?

0

erudite 1 year, 9 months ago

YES, YES, YES....TERM LIMITS!! And NO LIFETIME coverage or salaries!!!! make them be unemployed just like millions of other Americans!!!

0

Bubbavet_rureel 1 year, 9 months ago

Health Care Bill voted, passed House and Senate Health Care Bill - Ruled Costitutional by The High Court

The question is, what planet you live on, because you dont get it, poor right-winger. The tax will not affect you are sister.

0

gotanyfacts 1 year, 9 months ago

Yes it was and yes it did, and you still can't comprehend the damage it will do to this nation. Bless your heart!

0

VSU 1 year, 9 months ago

Give people jobs so they can pay their way? Some people will lose their jobs because the company will not want to pay insurance for everybody. I wonder what planet you are from.

1

VSU 1 year, 9 months ago

I believe it, because I think Obuma is from another planet as well. The planet Moron.

1

RedEric 1 year, 9 months ago

Obamacare does mess with Medicare. My Medicare plus gap insurance went from $300 per month to $500 per month and I have less coverage than someone on Medicaid. This is just the first step. Obamacare will further increase gap insurance costs and decrease coverage while increasing by huge numbaers people on Medicaid. Who thinks this is moral?

0

bigbob 1 year, 9 months ago

What about Obumma using executive priviledge to hide all the documents about giving guns to the drug cartell then protecting the person who aloud it to happen from prosecution. Lets face it people if he was WHITE you would want his head on a stick. Such a double standard that know he can allow people to get away with murder of a border controll agent. WE ARE SCREWED.

0

Bubbavet_rureel 1 year, 9 months ago

Read the constitution and stop listening to the right-wingers. Learn a liberal lesson or two. Ask the Real Deal?

0

gotanyfacts 1 year, 9 months ago

You will not find the power to do what Obamacare does in the Constitution. Only through "creative" interpretation did Roberts manage to find a way not to strike it down. When you read stuff, it helps to THINK. Bless your heart!

0

Bubbavet_rureel 1 year, 9 months ago

You're wrong, however, sister might believe you, bless your weak knowledge.

0

Bubbavet_rureel 1 year, 9 months ago

The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his Office during the Term of four Years, and, together with the Vice President, chosen for the same Term, be elected, as follows[1]

Clause one is a "vesting clause," similar to other clauses in Articles One and Three, but it vests the power to execute the instructions of Congress, which has the exclusive power to make laws; "To make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the foregoing powers, and all other powers vested by this Constitution in the government of the United States, or in any department or officer thereof." The important distinction between the vesting clause in Article I and this Vesting Clause is that this one is Plenary (i.e., it implies the power the executive to fall in line with what other "executives" around the world at the time could do) whereas the power vested in Article I is subject to limits to be outlined in later sections.

The head of the Executive Branch is the President of the United States. The President and the Vice President are elected every four years.

Well, read the facts.

0

gotanyfacts 1 year, 9 months ago

You copy and paste well. Now take a look at the Bill of Rights and see if you can find where the federal government is vested with the power to tax or punish people for not purchasing a product. If you understood that what you pasted has nothing to do with the discussion, you would not have bothered!

0

J.D._Sumner 1 year, 9 months ago

Gotanyfacts, I think you're partially right and partially wrong on this. The office of the president generally has no authority to regulate commerce, which is what Obamacare is, but Congress does. Judging by the following excerpt from Cornell, the "commerce Clause" of the constitution gives congress the ability to regulate what we buy. Other examples include the FDA, which regulates the drugs we take and the USDA.

The Commerce Clause refers to Article 1, Section 8, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution, which gives Congress the power “to regulate commerce with foreign nations, and among the several states, and with the Indian tribes.”

The Constitution enumerates certain powers for the federal government; the Tenth Amendment provides that any powers that are not enumerated in the Constitution are reserved for the states. Congress has often used the Commerce Clause to justify exercising legislative power over the activities of states and their citizens, leading to significant and ongoing controversy regarding the balance of power between the federal government and the states.

The Commerce Clause has historically been viewed as both a grant of congressional authority and as a restriction on states’ powers to regulate. The “dormant” Commerce Clause refers to the prohibition, implied in the Commerce Clause, against states passing legislation that discriminates against or excessively burdens interstate commerce.  The meaning of the word "commerce" is a source of much of the controversy.  The Constitution does not explicitly define the word.  Some argue that it refers simply to trade or exchange, while others claim that the founders intended to describe more broadly commercial and social intercourse between citizens of different states. Thus, the interpretation of "commerce" affects the appropriate dividing line between federal and state power.

0

erudite 1 year, 9 months ago

OK, if the Commerce Clause allows commercial regulation enough to allow the ACA, can it also allow regulation of the fees charged for tests, etc? Can medical charges be reined in?

0

RedEric 1 year, 9 months ago

Bubba you must also read the federalist papers to Truly understand the constitution. The constitution is like the bible, you can select passages to justify most anything. While your at it look at what the framers defined as natural born citizen. I found three framers who agreed that 'natural born citizen' meant both mother and father were citizens.....Obama Ain't.

0

Good point willie, there were no weapons of mass destruction and we lost countless lives. I respect the hero's, but this was another example of the fail Bush policies. Policies we are still paying for, also, the fast and furious (guns) were also started on Bush watch. They wont tell you that information, who is they, they are the poor right-wingers looking for opportunity from the poor liberals.

0

rightasrain 1 year, 9 months ago

Not only is Barack Hussein Obama an avowed Marxist, he and his administration are the most racist people in this country. He and his bunch make every criticism against him and "his", racist attacks against a black President, a black AG, and everyone else who is black; that's why most whites are hesitant to say anything. For instance, a "Black Congressional Caucus" is acceptable, but let white Congressmen organize a White Congressional Caucus and all hell will break loose. It's okay to have the NAACP, but see what reaction there would be if there was a NAAWP (which, by the way is greatly needed). Admittedly, there is racism existing with White America and Black America; however, I can say with much confidence that the greatest amount of racism comes from the black community and is propagated by the leadership in Washington, D.C.

0

VSU 1 year, 9 months ago

Course the blacks will say they are not racists, and I suppose they think they are not hypocrits as well.

0

erudite 1 year, 9 months ago

Regardless of color, sex, ethnicity, the sad truth is ignorance, prejudice and discrimination can be bliss.

2

erudite 1 year, 9 months ago

Don't you think there has been a NAAWP for centuries? From where do you get your confidence for your claim about prejudice and discrimination? Have whites (not Irish or Italians who did) been excluded from the lunch counter, from registering to vote, from certain schools or jobs? Whites have 11 months of history lessons; where is the real, not revisionist, history?

1

rightasrain 1 year, 9 months ago

Erudite, you prove 'where it is'! Ever since the Civil Rights Act was passed, history has been revised to do nothing but demonize anyone who isn't the sacred black color. By the way, whites were prevented from voting in the 2008 campaign as members of the BLACK PANTHERS threatened the safety of voters if they did not vote for Hussein Obama and the BLACK AG publicly stated that the AG's office would not prosecute any black crime on white; but would prosecute white on black. By the way, it's obvious that you can't comprehend what you read; I said nothing about prejudice nor discrimination; I mentioned racism. Learn to read.

0

erudite 1 year, 9 months ago

Racism is the result of prejudice and discrimination. I think you are so far right that you are close to the edge of your flat earth. That some whites were prevented at a few polls is supposed to equate with decades of restricitions at every election, not just national? You pick out a few episodes and that's supposed to make it equal? I would like real history, no superior colors, just the facts.

I work, therefore I am not a drain on society. I do not go to the doctor because I do not have health insurance (despite several serious health issues) therefore I am not a drain on society. I really wish people would STOP lumping those who do not have health insurance in one group. I AM NOT A DRAIN ON SOCIETY BECAUSE I DONT HAVE INSURANCE. It is statements "drain on society" or "i am tired of paying for the uninsured" .that is the VERY REASON I don't go to the doctor/ I quit a job last year that had health insurance because I could not pay for health insurance and my house mortgage. I could not afford insurance last year. What the hell makes that jackass of a president think I can afford it now?

1

alleebrin 1 year, 9 months ago

Priorities, My Dear! I bet you have a cellphone, laptop, tattooes, acrylic nails, smoke, Lexus SUV, house much larger than you need, and the list goes on and on. How many did I get right?

0

FlunkyMonkey 1 year, 9 months ago

Nope--we have one cell phone which is for my disabled husband in case of an emergency. I have a laptop because I have to bring work home at night (that I don't get paid for) and it is easier to use a laptop to transport that work. I don not have fake nails (as a matter of fact I bite mine), I live in a 15 year old double wide mobile home (that needs some work), I don't smoke, drink or go out to eat, I cook breakfast and take my lunch to work, I drive a 10 year old car with more than 150,000 miles on it. I I suffer form high blood pressure and arthritis. I have bone spurs in both knees, and two spots on my left lung (this was CONFIRMED when I had insurance). I have not had a pap smear or a mammogram in two years. So, alleebrin, YOU GOT NOTHING RIGHT! YOU MADE AN ASSUMPTION THAT YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO MAKE. Priorities--maybe when you are sitting in your white bread pew at church, you need to ask for God to forgive how you judge others....

Justice Roberts just handed Romney the winning hand in this poker game. Roberts is sly like a fox. Remember the state of the union speech when Obama ridiculed the Supreme Court to their face? Payback time, big time!! Regardless of what Obama calls it, it is a tax, according to Roberts, the biggest ever. Obama must now campaign on that....

0

Bubbavet_rureel 1 year, 9 months ago

Wrong, Chief Justice Roberts sought to improve the perspective of the court with the people, thus, building a bi-partisan high court.

Interputation for sister, bubbavet, and mrkia - what i'm saying is in the Bush V. Gore decission the high court got it wrrong, now they are makking itt right.

Note: The mispell words give the moron caller something to vent about.

YOU CAN'T INTERPRET ANYTHING FOR ME, I DON'T UNDERSTAND CHIMPANZEE LOGIC

0

erudite 1 year, 9 months ago

Roberts, a Republican, could have voted to make the clause unconstitutional; he did not. Do you wonder why? Whether you call it a tax or a fine, the winner here is clearly the MEDICAL-INDUSTRIAL complex; if there are no restrictions on charges, the whole thing is a lose for us-win for the industry.

0

Bubbavet_rureel 1 year, 9 months ago

Roberts made it a tax, this way the legislators will have imput. Per constitution the control the power of the purse. Clauses take them out of decission making.

Just ask the real deal?

0

VSU 1 year, 9 months ago

Perhaps Roberts voted for it knowing most Americans would be against it and swing more votes to Romney to defeat Obama to repeal this Obamadon'tcare.

0

Wow, that would be an incredible risk for Romney's election. It would be easier to gain trust in the Rep party had he voted against it.

My only prayer is that in November this country will wake up and "kick" him and his bunch completely out of Washington. This country need to return to a Godly nation and this is the only way possible. I hope he takes the Karan with him and as far as Michelle talking about God, I do believe this is the only time she mentioned him since they have been in office. I guess election time brings out certain things in certain people, but to refer to our God as a a hopefull edge for her husband, I would not want to stand in front of the throne of God and attempt to defend this. PLEASE PRAY FOR THIS NATION AND ALL OUR PEOPLE.

0

The people are awake, they are suffering from the Bush era, they need 4 more years to recover. say 4 more years!

1

People are suffering from the 3.5 years Obuma has been in there. Give him 4 more years so he can finish destroying this country. You are one true idiot, along with coach. When you two were born (Providing you two are not the same person...find it hard to believe there could be two idiots) but when you two were born, the doctor didn't spank you to wake you up, he spanked your mother or mothers.

1

erudite 1 year, 9 months ago

Why does the medical industry believe that women neecd their help to deliver babies? Women have been doing fine for millenia without any help. Back to the town mid-wives (and no, they are not witches, as history may have us believe) to deliver babies; have a birthing pond like many societies.

0

VSU 1 year, 9 months ago

Yes, some mothers have delivered on their own without the doctors help even those that put their babies in dumpsters and toilets......

0

That's correct. No medical intervention necessary. "Some" mothers? How about billions of mothers through the years? From the first biped of a homo genus until the early 1900's, ALL mothers did it!!

If the Health Care Bill is so good, why isn't it universal? Why have so many groups been allowed to exempt themselves from it? Why are those that wrote it and passed it exempt from it? Is it because they are better class citizens? Why would they even want exemption from it? If you took the time to read some of the contained clauses, you might realize why. Plus, it would interfer with their path to wealth at the expense of the Taxpayer. Even someone like myself can see something just isn't as advertised. Too many people intending to attend a feeding frenzie on the bucks that will be available. To few people to actually fund it. Look for more than the 9,000 millionaires to renounce their American citizenship than did last year. They didn't accumulate all that wealth by being stupid.

1

Abytaxpayer 1 year, 9 months ago

Walt careful when you ask questions like that Coach and BVR run away and hide.....I have been asking Coach for days and all he can do is HIDE. They hate for someone to ask them to tell the TRUTH. Watch this, here is a repeat of my post.

Coach one Question? If Obuma's Healthcare plan is so GREAT why did he personally see to it that a large number of his union supporters were exempted right after the bill passed and why are the Democrats not giving up their private healthcare program and taking Obuma’s program. Maybe what is so Good for the Dumbacrates is not so good for the insider friends of Obuma. Once again you have been told what to believe and you did with no questions…Good Luck and give it your best double-talk try. Or just run away as usual!!!!!

Those who make a living in the health care industry will continue to prosper at our expense. After reading all that has been posted here, it seems that the townsfolk are more interested in fighting with each other.

Enjoy reading your well thought comments, Mr. Walt, I just knew someone in the area possessed common sence.

0

Is that right? Well you can thank your buddy Bubbavet_rureel for that. Some people try to post and discuss serious comments, but your buddy BVR writes these stupid meaningless posts to instigate people because he knows it will get them riled up. He never writes a sensible mature comment, he writes the same old stuff over and over to egg people on. And coachjohnson42 is no better, and I still say that BVR & coachjohnson are the same person. He/they write posts just to get a response.

2

Abytaxpayer 1 year, 9 months ago

Wille please explain your comment “Those who make a living in the health care industry will continue to prosper at our expense.” ..

I just got notice that after 15years with the same DR. he is dropping patients now because he cannot afford the changes the new law will be making in his payments for his services. So now along with 1000s of new patients many of us that had a DR. must find a new DR. willing to work for what the new law will be paying. Where are these New Dr.s going to come from?

0

VSU 1 year, 9 months ago

Probably from the same place that brought us Dr. Murfree. You know...those online degrees.

0

Simply put, you pay and they play. If the Health Industry were to cut their own cost, every one would save, the only thing is you keep going to a DR. who seems to never cure you, however the Health Care industry is running at full speed on premium gas as we all walk............

Too much HATE and not enough LOVE is what we have here. Believe you me, the only thing the haters have against our great president Obama is that he is black. You read the headlines, read the squawkbox and forums like this and all you read is stories of hate. People spread vicious, malicious stories about Obama as scare tactics. Stories like he will destroy this country, he's a terroristic muslim are just a small example of stories that have yet to be proven. You can't express love, until you have relinquished the hate. Everybody should embrace your neighbor, fellow townspeople, fellow citizens as you would embrace your best friend. We are only different on the outside. We all bleed the same color of red. Whether you are white, black, brown, red, yellow, whether you are smart, dumb as dirt, have a good job, bad job, no job, we all bleed the color of red. We got people hating other people because one is an Auburn fan, the other a bulldogs fan. We get a Giants fan getting his clock cleaned by Dodger fans. we all bleed the color of red. You do realize that the portion deemed constitutional, the "individual mandate", is exactly what Romney did in Massachusetts, right? When he was governor there, he passed legislation that required all MA citizens to have health insurance. See how that is working for them.

Read, Read, Read all about it:

Question:

Coach one Question? If Obuma's Healthcare plan is so GREAT why did he personally see to it that a large number of his union supporters were exempted right after the bill passed and why are the Democrats not giving up their private healthcare program and taking Obuma’s program. Maybe what is so Good for the Dumbacrates is not so good for the insider friends of Obuma. Once again you have been told what to believe and you did with no questions…Good Luck and give it your best double-talk try. Or just run away as usual!!!!!

Answer:

Rewarding. Doctors and hospitals today are paid for performing procedures, not for helping patients. Insurers make money by dumping sick patients, not by keeping people healthy. Mr. Obama proposes to base Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements to hospitals and doctors on patient outcomes (lower cholesterol readings, made and kept follow-up appointments) in a coordinated effort to focus the entire payment system around better health, not just more care.

Pooling. The Obama plan would give individuals and small firms the option of joining large insurance pools. With large patient pools, a few people incurring high medical costs will not topple the entire system, so insurers would no longer need to waste time, money and resources weeding out the healthy from the sick, and businesses and individuals would no longer have to subject themselves to that costly and stressful process.

Preventing. In today's health-care market, less than one dollar in 25 goes for prevention, even though preventive services -- regular screenings and healthy lifestyle information -- are among the most cost-effective medical services around. Guaranteeing access to preventive services will improve health and in many cases save money.

Covering. Controlling long-run health-care costs requires removing the hidden expenses of the uninsured. The reforms described above will lower premiums by $2,500 for the typical family, allowing millions previously priced out of the market to afford insurance.

Hogwash! If Obumadon'tcare is good enough for us, it's good enough for them, which tells me it isn't worth the sweat on my underarms and I don't have no sweat on my underarms.

Abytaxpayer: You will have to write the President for the answers to you questions, all I can do is provide you with your President's address, as you know, he will reside there until November 2016.

Write a letter to the President Here are a few simple things you can do to make sure your message gets to the White House as quickly as possible.

  1. If possible, email us! This is the fastest way to get your message to President Obama.

  2. If you write a letter, please consider typing it on an 8 1/2 by 11 inch sheet of paper. If you hand-write your letter, please consider using pen and writing as neatly as possible.

  3. Please include your return address on your letter as well as your envelope. If you have an email address, please consider including that as well.

  4. And finally, be sure to include the full address of the White House to make sure you message gets to us as quickly and directly as possible:

The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington, DC 20500

Coach stop smiling!!!
