ALBANY, Ga. -- A man allegedly involved with a violent home invasion Tuesday, 19-year-old DeAngelo Montrez Wallace, is wanted for questioning, Albany Police Department officials say.
According to an APD report, Wallace stands 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans with a black T-shirt wrapped around his face. His last address is unknown.
Police want to question him about a home invasion at 614 Johnson Road. During that incident, a man entered the residence about 12:09 a.m. Tuesday. The suspect tried to rob Buford Ford Jr. and Jennifer Trody while two girls, ages 3 and 4, were in the residence.
"Ford fought with the suspect," police reported, "and during the fight a round was fired from the weapon the suspect had."
The invader ran away. No injuries were reported.
In a separate incident at almost 1 a.m. Thursday, there was an armed robbery at the Traveler's Inn, 414 W. Oglethorpe Blvd., when a man with a black handgun robbed cash from a motel clerk.
"The victim reported that a black male entered the office lobby and demanded money at gunpoint," the report stated. "The suspect fled the scene on foot, running to the north toward the Burger King."
