Police/Fire/EMS report for March 6, 2012

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 65 incidents Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours of Monday. Reports included:

— Criminal trespass on the 600 block of Mission Court and the 2500 block of Crescent Drive;

— Assault (domestic violence) on the 1100 block of Taft Street;

— Reckless conduct on the 1600 block of Gadsden Drive;

— Thefts by taking on the 2700 block of Westgate Drive and the 2300 block of Downing Court;

— Possession of marijuana (less than one ounce) on the 2800 block of Nottingham Way;

— Thefts by shoplifting on the 2800 block of Nottingham Way and the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Prohibited noise (loud music) on the 400 block of Shadowlawn Drive;

— Criminal damage to property in the second degree on the 1100 block of Centennial Avenue and the 2200 block of Clark Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1600 block of Whiting Drive and the 2200 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Driving with a suspended license on the 100 block of South Cleveland Street and the 200 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Motor vehicle thefts on the 2600 block of Dawson Road the 1300 block of South McKinley Street;

— Threats (domestic violence) on the 2000 block of Skylane Drive;

— Entering auto on the 1600 block of Whiting Drive;

— Burglaries on the 2000 block of Tompkins Avenue and the 1000 block of Ninth Avenue;

— Injured person on the 700 block of North Maple Street;

— Missing juveniles on the 300 block of Forrestal Lane and the first block of Transvilla Parkway;

— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 1200 block of South Madison Street;

— Domestic dispute on the 3100 block of Fernridge Drive;

— Vandalism on the 1600 block of Worrell Court;

— Aggravated battery on the 1200 block of Avalon Avenue;

— Harassing phone calls on the 3400 block of Brook Hollow Parkway;

— Driving under the influence on the 700 block of West Highland Avenue and the 1100 block of Mobile Avenue;

— Violation of a family violence order on the 3600 block of Mayfair Lane;

— Aggravated assault on the 100 block of Turner Field Road;

— Suicide attempt on the 300 block of South Mock Road.

DOUGHETY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 19 calls Saturday and Sunday. Reports included:

— Traffic accidents on the 600 block of Holly Drive and on Clark Avenue just west of State Highway 300;

— Family violence (verbal) on the 600 block of Cordele Road;

— Person wanted in Pinellas County, Fla., arrested on the 300 block of Pryor Street;

— Terroristic threats on the 400 block of Philema Road;

— Theft on the 800 block of River Pointe Drive;

— Criminal damage, theft, on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;

— Traffic arrest on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road.

DOUGHETY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to 46 calls on Sunday. There were 36 medical calls, nine trauma calls and one “other” type call. Medical calls included four for chest pain, five for respiratory issues, one for fainting, four for altered mental status, one for diabetic issues, one for a seizure, one mental health call, one miscellaneous pain call and 18 various medical calls. Trauma calls included four for auto accident victims, two for falls and three for other trauma calls. The “other” type call was for an AFD standby.
