Police/Fire/EMS report for March 11, 2012

ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 50 incidents Friday into the early hours of Saturday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Drunken driving on the 1000 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Pedestrian refused to get out of the roadway on the 200 block of Ebony Lane;

— Thefts by taking on the 600 block of Pine Avenue, the 300 block of Vick Street, the 1200 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 100 block of Mossydale Lane, the 500 block of Whitney Avenue, the 800 block of North Van Buren Street, the 2700 block of Dawson Road, the 2200 block of Habersham Road and the 2400 block of Sylvester Road;

— Recovered motor vehicle stolen from Washington, D.C. on the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road;

— Burglaries on the 700 block of Mobile Avenue and the 200 block of North Broadway Street;

— Recovered property; white powder in plastic bags found on the 900 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2000 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 1000 block of West Broad Avenue and the 1300 block of Hobson Street;

— Battery (domestic) on the 400 block of McKinley Street and the 500 block of Robinson Avenue;

— Assault (domestic) on the 2200 block of Grady Street;

— Domestic disturbances (unfounded) on the 100 block of Marie Road, the 3900 block of Rodnor Forest Lane, the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road and the 3100 block of Crepe Myrtle Drive.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 12 calls Friday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Traffic crash with injuries on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;

— Traffic crash; a vehicle struck a turkey on the 1100 block of Talahassee Road;

— Identity theft on the 900 block of Branch Road;

— Family violence (verbal) on the 500 block of College Drive;

— Runaway youth on the 2100 block of Community Avenue.
