On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I offer congratulations to F. Faison Middleton IV of Watson Spence law firm in Albany on his recent appointment by Gov. Nathan Deal to the Georgia Student Finance Commission.
The entire state will benefit from Mr. Middleton's service on the commission, which provides financial aid to help Georgia students realize their higher education dreams through its administration of the HOPE Scholarship and many other scholarship, grant and loan programs.
Faison Middleton's acceptance of this new responsibility is evidence of his commitment to public service and stands as an inspiration to all Georgia lawyers as we seek to fulfill both our duty to help others and our high calling as stewards of the justice system.
