ALBANY -- A woman became the victim of a reckless conduct incident Sunday afternoon, according to Albany Police Department reports.
The victim, Josie Springer, 29, was reportedly sitting outside when she was struck in the stomach by a stray bullet at 1318 E. Residence Ave. at 1 p.m. Springer was treated by paramedics at the scene and released, the incident report stated.
Police say it appears she was only grazed by the bullet and her injury was not life-threatening. The initial investigation conducted at the scene revealed that the bullet possibly came from a 9-mm caliber handgun.
