ALBANY, Ga. -- The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has uncovered new information regarding Tuesday's gambling raid on Big Dawg Calling Cards in Albany.
In all, seven stores were hit in Doraville, Douglasville, Conyers, LaGrange, Columbus and Albany. The seizures included 53 new central processing units still in the boxes, two or three CPUs as well as one gaming machine and controlling server at each location, documentation, $20,500 in cash and three handguns.
A seven-month undercover investigation resulted in indictments being issued against James Kokott, 63, James Clemmons, 47, and Marilyn Clemmons, 49, by the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office.
In addition to the stores, a search warrant was also served for Kokott's home. Two of the handguns were found there, with the third at one of the Columbus locations.
A total of 43 GBI agents and 20 local officers assisted with the execution of the warrants. Kokott was arrested in Conyers, while the other two individuals remained wanted Wednesday afternoon.
