ALBANY -- The Albany Police Department responded to at least 35 incidents Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday. The reports included:
-- Criminal trespass on the 1300 block of Ninth Avenue and on the 2300 block of Whispering Pines Road;
-- Disorderly conduct on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;
-- Assault (battery domestic violence), reckless conduct on the 1100 block of Eager Drive;
-- Domestic dispute (unfounded) on the 1200 block of Avalon Avenue and on the 1100 block of Ninth Avenue;
-- Harassing phone calls on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;
-- Theft by taking on the 300 block of South Jackson Street and on the 400 block of Harmon Avenue;
-- Deceased person on the 1500 block of North Davis Street;
-- Misuse of 911 on the 800 block of West Gordon Avenue;
-- Motor vehicle theft on the 900 block of Lippitt Drive;
-- Assault on the 400 block of Gaines Avenue and on the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue;
-- Assault, vandalism on the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue;
-- Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
-- Public indecency (saggy pants) on the 1000 block of West Highland Avenue;
-- Forgery in the 1st degree on the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue;
-- Burglary on the 1900 block of West Whitney Avenue and on the 2600 block of Lansing Drive;
-- Unruly child on the 4000 block of Gillionville Road;
-- Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 1300 block of West Whitney Avenue;
-- Domestic dispute, assault on the 2300 block of Jewel Street;
-- Driving with a suspended license on the 1700 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 12 calls on Tuesday. The reports included:
-- Traffic, wanted person arrest at Clark Avenue and Mock Road;
-- Wanted person, giving false information to police on the 2400 block of Sylvester Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 11 calls from Tuesday through the early hours of Wednesday. The reports included passenger vehicle fires, a grass fire, a fire at a South Van Buren home causing $1,750 in damage and police assistance with a welfare check.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty EMS responded to at least 66 calls on Tuesday including 45 medical calls, 18 trauma calls and three "other" calls. The medical calls included six for chest pain, seven for respiratory issues, one for diabetic issues, two for seizures, one for OB/Labor, six for mental health, four for miscellaneous pain, one for an allergic reaction and 17 various medical calls.
The trauma calls included six for auto accident victims, eight for falls, three for lacerations and one other trauma. The three "other" calls included two for AFD standby and one medical alert activation.
