Participants at a previous Georgia Master Gardener Day learn about bees. SOWEGA Master Gardeners and the UGA Cooperative Extension will celebrate Master Gardener Day from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday at the Albany Mall.
ALBANY — SOWEGA Master Gardeners and the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Service will celebrate Georgia Master Gardener Day Saturday at Albany Mall.
Activities are planned from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the mall near the JC Penney entrance. Featured will be numerous displays and demonstrations.
One feature will be bonsai displays with live trees. Butterflies will be featured at the butterfly education table. Information will be provided on the Monarch Garden at Radium Springs.
Also offered will be tomatoes and daylilies. Another exhibit for both children and adults will be bee displays provided by SOWEGA Beekeepers Club.
