ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 59 incidents Monday and into the early hours of Tuesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Recovered property, bullets, and a handgun holster were recovered wrapped in a blue ski mask next to a trash can on the 700 block of Corn Avenue;
-- Injured person, a dog bit a 10 year old in the abdomen while on the 1500 block of Martha Street;
-- Aggravated assault, after 6 a.m. Tuesday a man cut a victim's stomach with a knife after confronting the victim on the 200 block of Merritt Avenue;
-- Aggravated assault, a fight on the 700 block of Radium Springs Road;
-- Theft by taking on the 300 block of Cordele Road, the 600 block of North Washington Street, the 800 block of Cardinal Grove Court, the 600 block of West Society Avenue, the 1600 block of Sunny Lane, the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue, the 700 block of Goodall Avenue, the 1000 block of Summit Drive and the 400 block of Partridge Drive;
-- Disorderly conduct on the 300 block of Mock Road and the 1300 block of Avalon Avenue;
-- Criminal damage, theft of an air conditioner on the 1100 block of Wingate Drive;
-- Entering auto on the 2000 block of Lullwater Road, the 900 block of Dorsett Avenue, the 2400 block of Devan Drive, the 2500 block of Buck Court and the 2300 block of Devan Drive;
-- Burglary on the 2300 block of Pineridge Lane, the 900 block of Rood Street, the 2400 block of Dawson Road and the 900 block of West First Avenue;
-- Criminal trespass, graffiti painted on the 2200 block of Gillionville Road;
-- Forgery on the 2800 block of Meredyth Drive;
-- Missing juvenile on the 600 block of Longbow Drive;
-- Injured person on the 900 block of Willow Wood Drive;
-- Terroristic threats and acts on the 700 block of Pine Avenue;
-- Missing person on the 1500 block of East First Avenue;
-- Assault (domestic) on the 2100 block of Pearce Avenue;
-- Theft (domestic) on the 1300 block of Ninth Avenue;
-- Simple battery (domestic) on the 600 block of Harmon Avenue;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 400 block of Medlock Drive, the 200 block of North Carroll Street, the 2100 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 400 block of Heard Avenue.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 12 calls Monday, including:
-- Entering auto on the 600 block of Rim Rock Court;
-- Traffic accident, Liberty Expressway;
-- Lost property (stolen auto tag decals) on the 400 block of North Westover Road;
-- Family violence (verbal) on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 56 calls on Monday.
There were 42 medical calls, 10 trauma calls and four other calls. Medical Calls: Six chest pain, three respiratory issues, three diabetic issues, two seizures, six mental health calls and 22 various medical; Trauma calls: Two vehicle crash victims, seven falls and one other trauma. Other type calls are typically medical alerts or standby.
LEE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE: The Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to at least 51 calls.
-- Missing person on the 400 block of Wiregrass Way;
-- Animal call on the 3200 block of Palmyra Road;
-- Theft on the 200 block of Longleaf Drive, the 1500 block of Highway 19 and the 100 block of Long Dirt Road;
-- Vehicle crash on the 1500 block of Highway 19;
-- Domestic on the 300 block of Northhampton Road;
-- Mental/psychiatric aid, elderly on the 300 block of Gosa Road and the 300 block of Northhampton Road;
-- Enter auto on the 1400 block of Highway 19;
-- Internet solicitation of a 10-year-old girl;
-- Recovered property, a cell phone on the 100 block of Paloma Drive;
-- Terroristic threats on the 100 block of Cartmell Drive;
-- Burglary on the 100 block of Buckston Trace Lane;
-- vehicle crash into a deer on the 300 block of Forrester Parkway;
-- Vehicle crash/hit and run on the 1500 block of Highway 19;
-- Animal call about possibly rabid opossum on the 200 block of Springlake Drive;
-- Drug investigation on the 400 block of Forrester Parkway.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 24 incidents, including four activated alarms, a lawnmower fire, a false alarm, a structure fire, tree debris fire, two leaf fires, two trash can fires, a controlled burn, four grass fires, two unauthorized burns, a vehicle crash, a vehicle leaking gas, unattended cooking, assist EMS and a smoke odor.
