ALBANY, Ga. — Two men on one bicycle were injured when they collided with a tractor-trailer about 2:22 a.m. Wednesday on Clark Avenue at Cone Street, according to an Albany Police Department report.
Michael Carroll, 44, was steering the bicycle while DeCharles Jackson, 27, rode on the handlebars, the report added. Both were taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Carroll is in critical condition and Jackson is in good condition, said a hospital spokeswoman.
Richard Gilbert, 62, of Florida, drove the tractor trailer. The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending, the report concluded
