ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 43 incidents Thursday and into the early hours of Friday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Theft by taking on the 100 block of Whitehead Drive, the 1200 block of Augusta Drive, the 1100 block of West Fourth Avenue and the 200 block of Talafax Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 900 block of South Street the 100 block of South Jefferson Street, the 1500 block of Palmyra Road and the 1100 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 1600 block of Maryland Drive;
— Injured person on the 2200 block of Jackson Street;
— Burglary on the 400 block of Shadowlawn Drive, the 1200 block of Kingstown Court and the 1700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Entering auto on the 1500 block of Cora Jinks Lane and the 2600 block of Doublegate Drive;
— Missing person on the 800 block of Frotscher Street;
— Simple battery on the 2000 block of Palmyra Road;
— Recovered property, a television on the 1600 block of McArthur Street;
— Forgery on the 1700 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Robbery by force at Lippett Drive and Van Buren Street alley;
— Public indecency on the 800 block of Byron Road;
— Criminal trespass (domestic) on the 600 block of West Second Avenue;
— Domestic (unfounded) on the 800 block of Cotton Avenue, the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue, the 1300 block of Residence Avenue, the 200 block of South Mock Road, the 700 block of Georgetown Drive, the 100 block of Thornton Drive and the 800 block of South Hardy Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 12 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
— Theft of less than $500 worth of soda, deer meat and chicken on the 1500 block of Hancock Road;
— Forgery and theft arrest on the 5500 block of Hill Road;
— Driving on suspended license on 11th Avenue at Monroe Street and on GA 3 at Holly Drive;
—Theft of $100 from a mother by her 16-year-old child on the 800 block of Community Avenue;
— Vehicle crash into a deer on GA 300 at Pine Bluff Road.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 62 calls on Thursday.
There were 37 medical calls, 23 trauma calls and two other calls. Medical Calls: Two chest pain, four respiratory issues, two diabetic issues, two seizures, one mental health call, four miscellaneous pain calls, one cardiac arrest, a possible stroke and 20 various medical; Trauma calls: 19 vehicle crash victims, two falls and two lacerations. Other type calls are typically medical alerts or standby.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 11 incidents and calls, including fire extinguisher training, cardiac arrest, trash fire, two vehicle fires, station tour, power line down, two activated alarms, fire prevention program and unattended cooking smoke.
