Police/Fire/EMS - March 27, 2012

ALBANY -- The Albany Police Department responded to at least 70 incidents Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours of Monday. Reports included:

-- Vandalism on the 200 block of Mock Road and the 600 block of 16th Avenue;

-- Domestic disputes (unfounded) on the 2800 block of Sylvester Road and the 1100 block of Benjamin Drive;

-- Domestic violence on the 2200 block of South Madison Street;

-- Criminal damage to property in the second degree on the 600 block of West 16th Avenue and the 1000 block of Don Cutler Drive;

-- Thefts by taking on the 3800 block of Mayfair Lane and the 1200 block of Gillespie Avenue;

-- Burglary on the 1300 block of Avalon Avenue;

-- Harassing phone calls on the 1000 block of University Street and the 2400 block of West Lincoln Avenue;

-- Criminal trespass on the 2500 block of South Washington Street and the 1300 block of East Society Avenue;

-- Assaults on the first block of Dobbs Drive and the 1100 block of Ninth Avenue;

-- Disorderly conduct on the 600 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 1900 block of West Gordon Avenue;

-- Thefts by shoplifting on the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

-- Driving with a suspended license on the 2300 block of Dawson Road;

-- Misuse of 911 on the 1100 block of Fifth Avenue;

-- Stalking on the 600 block of Moultrie Road;

-- Public indecency (saggy pants) on the 2800 block of Nottingham Way and the 2200 block of Clark Avenue;

-- Missing juvenile on the 3100 block of Cane Mill Drive;

-- Sexual battery on the 1200 block of Firestone Drive;

-- Injured person on the 2000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

-- Forgery in the first degree on the 600 block of Burke Avenue;

-- Motor vehicle theft on the 800 block of West Residence Avenue;

-- Unruly child on the 200 block of Edward Drive;

-- Entering auto on the 100 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

-- Lost/mislaid property on the 700 block of Cedar Avenue;

-- Terroristic threats and acts on the 1300 block of South Van Buren Street;

-- Dumping egregious litter on the 200 block of Sixth Avenue;

-- Burglaries on the 900 block of Inverness Road and the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

-- Criminal trespass, theft by taking, on the 1400 block of West Waddell Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least nine calls on Sunday. Reports included:

-- Family violence on the 2100 block of Nelms Road;

-- Accident (private) on the 1300 block of Williamsburg Road;

-- Traffic arrest on the 1500 block of the Liberty Expressway.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 21 calls from Friday through Sunday. Reports included motor vehicle crashes, a power line down, assistance to the APD, an unauthorized burn, trash fires, a leaf fire, a grass fire and a vehicle fire.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty EMS responded to at least 46 calls on Sunday, including 36 medical calls and 10 trauma calls. The medical calls included seven for chest pain, eight for respiratory issues, one for fainting, one for diabetic issues, two for seizures, two for mental health issues, four for miscellaneous pain and 11 various medical problems. Trauma calls included one for an auto accident victim, five for falls, one for a laceration and three for other trauma.
