ALBANY — The Center of Refuge Church will host its second Christian hip-hop fashion show — “Christ Rocks!” — on at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at 2405 Lily Pond Road.
Sabrina Jefferson, vision leader, says the purpose of the fashion show is to try to change the mind set of those who have negative stereotypes and to show that living for Christ is not a boring lifestyle.
“This is the year of manifestation and expectation; it is time to anticipate something bigger, greater and beyond what our eyes can see for out lives, finances, education, careers and families,” Jefferson said.
The event will include live entertainment and free food. Vendors will be on hand who specialize in vintage/couture clothing, designer shoes/handbags, jewelry and more.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Doors open at 6 p.m.
