Done deal: Magic Johnson, ex-Braves president Kasten buys Dodgers for $2 billion

Former Los Angeles Lakers star Magic Johnson has found loads of success in the business world since retiring from the NBA in 1991, and he’s now parlayed that into heading a group — which includes former Atlanta Braves, Hawks and Thrashers president Stan Kasten, above — that has made the most expensive purchase in pro sports history: buying the Los Angeles Dodgers for $2 billion.
