ALBANY, Ga. — The Southwest Georgia Homeschool Association is hosting major scholarship recipient Matthew Bullington of Murfreesboro, Tenn., tonight.
Bullington and his two siblings were fully funded to attend college, and ultimately received more than a half-million dollars in scholarships and assistantship offers for undergraduate and graduate school.
Bullington, the founder of Homeschool College Prep, will lecture about developing a better high school curriculum for home-schooled students in addition to discussing how parents can cope with the cost of college.
“These lectures are extremely important for any parent who desires to prepare their student during the high school years for future success in the undergraduate and graduate setting, and how to find the needed funding to support upper-level education in this depressed economy,” SWGHA Secretary Karen Allen said.
The lectures will be held at the Beattie Road Church of Christ, Building A, and begin at 6 p.m. The cost is $10 per family for SWGHA members and $20 for non-members.
Bullington and his two graduated siblings were all paid or fully funded to go to college. Matthew Bullington attended Middle Tennessee State University.
After being approached by numerous home-school families for college preparation advice, Bullington launched Homeschool College Prep in 2007.

Just admit it..........this meeting exists to develop an Action Plan on how these families are going to DEMAND and GET desks in the DCSS prior to the on-rush for similar classroom seats from all over SOWEGA. The emminent emminence of the DCSS in the Education online stratosphere (planned and announced by #34) is going to create a Demand that will exceed the iPhone, the iPad, and the iBMW. Please tell the truth. There have been Truthers, there have been Birthers................and now there are the Phoenixers. Own it.
