ALBANY, Ga. — Darrell Morris, 32, is in good condition after suffering a gunshot wound to his leg at about 8:32 p.m. Tuesday, a Phoebe Putney Memorial hospital spokeswoman said Wednesday.
Morris was in his black Jeep Liberty on the 1900 block of Riverview Circle when two men tried to rob him at gunpoint. Morris drove away, and the gunmen fired at him. One shot hit his leg.
