ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 40 incidents Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Thefts by taking on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive, the 1600 block of Smith Court, the 1200 block of Westover Boulevard, the 500 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 3200 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Burglary on the 1900 block of Elkhorn Drive;
— Recovered property, a black Schwinn bicycle, on the 2300 block of East Doublegate Drive;
— Entering auto on the 1500 block of Dawson Avenue;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Disorderly conduct on the 100 block of Old Radium Springs Road, the 100 block of South Jefferson Street, the 300 block of South Mock Road and the 300 block of Gaines Avenue;
— Forgery, a counterfeit $20 bill, on the 900 block of Moultrie Road;
— Terroristic threats on the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
Battery on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 1300 block of Hobson Street;
—Violation of emergency telephone number on the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue;
— Missing juvenile on the 1400 block of East Third Avenue;
— Assaults (domestic) on the 600 block of North Davis Street and the 800 block of South Jackson Avenue;
— Criminal trespass (domestic) on the 300 block of West Mercer Avenue;
— Domestic disturbances (unfounded) on the 200 block of Slater King Drive, the 1800 block of Gadsdon Drive, the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle, the 300 block of Tremont Avenue and the 1900 block of Broad Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 14 calls Tuesday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Family violence on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
— Abandoned vehicle on the 2000 block of Howard Drive;
— Burglary on the 300 block of Pinson Road;
— Family violence (verbal) on the 900 block of Strout Avenue;
— Missing person on the 800 block of Community Avenue;
— Traffic arrest on the 5000 block of Leary Road.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 59 calls on Tuesday, including 40 medical calls and 19 trauma calls. Medical calls included two chest pain calls, nine respiratory issues, one person fainted, four diabetic issues, one seizure, two mental health calls, four miscellaneous pain calls, one stroke symptom and 16 various medical calls. Trauma calls included four vehicle crash victims, 10 falls, a gunshot, three other trauma calls and one fight/assault. Other type calls are typically medical alerts or standby.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to five incidents Tuesday, including a grass fire, an unauthorized burn, a false alarm and two activated alarms.
