ALBANY — The Dougherty County School Board Transportation Committee approved a change order to fueling stations at the department headquarters on Thursday.
The change will now go to the full board.
The committee voted 3-0 to move the proposed $12,666 change order to be considered by the full Board during its next meeting on May 14.
At issue is wiring that is incompatible with new key card readers. The fix involves running new wiring through an overhead conduit to the new card readers on two fuel dispensers.
The change order will be paid from from current special-purpose local-option sales tax funds.

So which individual didn't spot this for the origional bid? Wonder if other bidders had allowed for it, and that is why they were higher? Just curious.
