APD: Suspects wanted in stabbing, vicious robbery

ALBANY -- Albany Police Department officers are reportedly searching for 32-year-old Leroy Eugene Taylor in connection with a Friday stabbing on the 2500 block of Crescent Drive. The victim was an unnamed 36-year-old black woman. She was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment, and her condition was not immediately available.

In another brutal assault, a black man beat a 79-year-old woman at her home on the 1700 block of Lynwood Lane at about 11 a.m. Friday, police reports state.

According to the reports: Carol Dozier answered her doorbell and was met by a brutal attack. The man hit Dozier several times, demanded money, looked in her purse, took keys to her white 2012 Honda and drove away. The Honda was found on the 1300 block of Colquitt Avenue. Police continue the search for the attacker.

Yeah, it takes a brave man to beat up a defenseless 79 year old woman. Wow, what a big tough man. If he had knocked on my door, I would have grabbed him by the neck and slammed him through the wall.
