SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
SATURDAY, MAY 12
10:00 a.m.: Phillips will stop by the Cumulus building for a radio tour on Broad Avenue. Afterwards, he will visit his dad’s pawn shop, Albany Sporting Goods & Pawn.
2:00 p.m.: Gates at football stadium open to public.
2:30 p.m.: Parade in Leesburg. Begins on Starksville Avenue and will continue down U.S. Highway 32 to Lee County High School.
3:00 p.m.: Concert begins.
LEESBURG, Ga. -- After surviving through weeks of elimination, America has voted, and Leesburg's Phillip Phillips is one of the final three contestants on "American Idol."
To celebrate this accomplishment, Leesburg has declared today "Phillip Phillips Day." After making several scheduled appearances on Saturday, the main event begins with a parade at 2:30 p.m., followed by a concert by Phillips at Lee County High School's football stadium. The event is free and open to the public; gates open at 2 p.m. No coolers or backpacks will be allowed.

Welcome home Phillip and btw, your rendition of the song, Volcano....was killerrrrrrrrrr....fantastic!! Never heard it done so well. If that didn't make America wake up and want to vote for you I don't know what will. I even bought the studio version, a first for me...hahaha....!!...and I usually just convert them from YouTube. You really are a versatile singer, arranger and the idea for that song was on da' money! Best to you in your future.
