Do you? Jesus could have used your self-righteousness when he was eating at the homes of known sinners and tax collectors. During that time, a tax collector was considered lower than one who had murdered. Perhaps, you are using your new translation of the scriptures in your evaluation of people. Side bar? I guarantee you have family members who are gay. You must be fun across the dinner table!

Opinions, especially hurtful ones, are like @@@holes. Most should be hidden at all times. Just because others aren't screaming, "Stone all sinners!" It doesn't make them any less of a christian. You carry on!

Obama is a Christian only when it is politically advantageous for him. He is so self-centered and insecure, he will lie to please his audience. It is difficult to get a firm grip on his religious beliefs - if he has any. Personally, I think his actions show him to be a secular humanist rather than a Christian.

Because? Coach... A while back you listed many "great accomplishments" by Obama. Many of them were born of fantasy, or gullibility. You seemed to have missed my evidence of such for a couple of them. Exercising my right to vote my choice is not being brainwashed, You have the same right. What bothers you is the inability to control another person's vote. It wouldn't bother me if you penciled your dog's name in and voted,,,that would be entirely up to you. Let's not get it twisted! We are not commenting in the Times. This is a tenth rate, paper cut-butt wipe that we choose to waste a minute on. There was a time in the south, most of us pretended we had manners, even if we were lacking. Save the idiot comment for you and those in your household.

I believe we've had this discussion before and I was accused of cafeteria Christianity. I am not the one picking certain pieces out of the book to be followed but many here do. If same sex marriages should be banned because of biblical teachings, then you need to follow the whole book. Sell your daughters into slavery, and kill your neighbor for working on the Sabbath (that's Saturday for those with biblical knowledge).
Of course, this is all assuming that there was only one book and that 1000's of years of translations did not change the message at all. Oh, and that the Christians wrote it.

exactly.. it's amazing how these people pick and choose certain verses from their "bible" to condemn people, while ignoring all the others... yet they never justify why they continue to eat PORK (you all know who you are), wear clothing of different fibers, etc, etc... because it's ALL in there, too.. right? (i hear crickets).. the hypocrisy of their religion is amazing.. they thrive on spreading hatred while wallering in their sesspool of christianity.. This type of ignorance is for the most part generational, and eventually will die off...

First idiot in line that is. I wouldn't vote for Obuma if he was the only one on the ballot. I'd put in Gomer Pyle as a write in vote before I would vote for Obuma. I would write in Ronald McDonald as a write in vote, but we already have a clown at the white house.

I eat what i eat because it is hard to afford anyhting now.So whats cheapest i eat.And no i dont use food stamps to get them.(i know this was gona come).And the Good Lord does forgive,unlike some people.And by the way,Obama said in a interview,on TV,he was of Muslim faith,that was his Christan way.That is why i say he does not know,he may be muslim this week,but next week he may be of some other faith.What ever gets the vote.

I am curious.... When did opposing someone or some idea become HATE?? Just because I think a marriage involves a man and a woman only does not mean I HATE those that believe differently. You know something ain't right when you're not allowed to express your beliefs without someone accusing you of spreading hate.
