"I know it was not Phillip’s fault, but it was rude for the network or whoever was responsible to make people wait two hours for a short concert. They should have planned better."

It wasn't about the fans. They were just getting footage for the show. I'm not blaming anyone, but that's all it was.
...and don't forget to vote!

Was the concert free? Or was is a last minute thing? If so, most things do not go off according to plans. Things go wrong, that is life.

So typical, complaining when you get something for nothing! Did you like the concert? Did you tell all your friends about the good time you had? Or you have decided the best memory you're going to have is having to wait?

I didn't go to any of the events, but I imagine everyone had a blast. You know any delays were that of Idol. I cannot wait to see the clips this week.

All three finalists returned to their "hometown" for "documentary filming". Nothing against Phillip Phillips, but all the hullabaloo was strictly publicity for the show, ratings, and most importantly of all...money. If anyone thinks that the 'winner' of A.I. will be free to do their 'own thing' should think again; the 'winner' will be owned by the show and the powers that be will dictate every move as the show owns the contract. I am not a fan of A.I.; it's just people using people.

Unfortunately for Philip, becoming the American Idol would be a two edged sword. The good edge: you won and will get rich. The bad edge: they will run your life for the next couple of years. This was just one little example. I hope Philip doesn't become the next Elvis. That didn't turn out too well for Elvis. But I think Philip has his head screwed on straight enough (and has a great family who will keep reminding him of what's really important) that he will be OK.

Makes you wonder if you would be better off not winning A.I. You can still get a record deal. Maybe that is why some contestants didn't feel bad about being eliminated.

Maybe some day, Carlton Fletcher will begin one of his opinion pieces with a quote from Phillip Phillips. Then we will know PP has hit the big time.

I think with CF, Philip would have to appear at the Wannee Weed Fest to really hit the big time.

Maybe CF will then quote some our local rap artists or "businessmen".

Completely agree! No excuse for a two hour delay.

Just how long should the FREE Concert have been? The price was Free but you feel ENTITLED to more than what you paid for. Other than sit around for two hours waiting for your FREE Stuff did you once get off your seat and offer to help or do anything constructive or just sit waiting with your hand out for what you felt ENTITLED to enjoy.

Apparently there was not enough WEED being provided to the 20,000 attendees!!

For those of you that did not know. There was a young boy from Leesburg that died last week and his funeral was Sat. The cemetary is right across the street from the high school. So out of respect for the family Phillip did not want to interfere with that. Very thoughful young man. Hats off to him and I hope he wins.

Any time something is filmed for television, there is going to be a delay, usually quite lengthy. This was no exception. I'm very cynical and do complain A LOT, but for Pete's sake, this was a free concert!! Phillip Phillips was being filmed in his hometown as one of the three finalists on American Idol. That's a pretty big deal, and people from this area should be excited about it or at the very least, completely neutral. There is nothing to be negative about here!!
If there was something so important in your life that you couldn't wait for the taping to be done to listen to the FREE concert, then you should have left, and not stayed to moan and groan, then have the nerve to send in this petty Squawk!
