ALBANY, Ga. — May 21-25 is Small Business Appreciation Week and to celebrate, the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring Let’s Grow Together, Albany’s Salute to Small Business.
At 9:45 a.m. Monday, Dougherty County and the City of Albany will issue a joint proclamation and also present the Special Star Business of the Week award at the Government Center.
From 5-7 p.m. Monday, the Chamber will host its regular Business After Hours at the Chamber building at 225 W. Broad Ave.
On Tuesday, Draffin & Tucker will sponsor “I’m A What?” How to Choose the Business Entity That’s Right for You.” The program is from noon until 1 p.m. in the Albany Technical College board room. The presentation is free for Chamber members and $10 for non-members.
Wednesday in the board room at Albany Technical College, a program titled “Hackers, Cyberpunks and Thieves: How to Prevent Corporate Identity Theft” will be presented.
The program is from noon until 1 p.m. and is sponsored by SB&T. Entrance is free to Chamber members and $10 for non-members.
Thursday, will be the Small Business Appreciation Rise N Shine Breakfast at the Hilton Garden Inn beginning at 7:30 a.m. for coffee and networking. The program begins at 8 a.m. and is $20 per person.
