UPDATE: Derrick Brown was apprehended on the 2100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Monday afternoon following the receipt of a tip.
ALBANY, Ga. -- A 19-year-old man was recovering Monday from a gunshot wound he reportedly sustained from two bail bondsmen, Albany Police Department officials said.
Police also have a lookout in place for two individuals wanted in separate, unrelated incidents earlier this month.
Ronntario Thompson, 19, sustained a gunshot wound Saturday evening on the 600 block of Zachery Avenue, police said.
Authorities say that at approximately 6:30 p.m., Thompson suffered a non-life-threatening injury, after which he was transported to a hospital to receive treatment.
Steve McGowan, 45, and Billy Moore, 63, both with ABC Bail Company in Leesburg, were charged with aggravated assault and reckless conduct and booked into Dougherty County Jail in connection to the shooting, police said.
Meanwhile, the APD Investigations Division is soliciting assistance with locating Derrick Rodriquez Brown, who is suspected of being involved in a burglary incident.
Brown, 41, is 5 feet 9 and weighs approximately 156 pounds, authorities say. His last known address is listed as 207 Wells Ave. He is wanted in connection to a burglary at Murphy USA, at 252 Cordele Road, that took place on May 13.
Police are also looking for Leroy Eugene Taylor, whose last known address is thought to be 2573 Crescent Drive.
Officials say Taylor is wanted for aggravated assault, rape, aggravated stalking, burglary and battery in connection to a May 11 incident on the 2500 block of Crescent Drive.
Anyone with information regarding these cases should notify police investigators by calling (229) 431-3288, or by calling Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS (8477).
The investigations into these crimes are ongoing.

Wait!!! We need to get Rev Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson up here. This poor worthless thief got shot for breaking his probation. What will these bail bondsmen do next. Shoot the person raping your daughter?

Thompson was like the Energizer Bunny, he was running and was going to keep on running, the judges keep on putting them back on the street, what do they expect to happen ?

Maybe we need to get Rev Billy Graham or Ed Rydner to march for the bail bondsman that shot somebody. Oh this is the wild wild south where you can shoot first and ask questions later. Nevermind calling the police, guess they have to get a lawyer from Lee County.

Who is the owner of ABC bail company in Leesburg ? That person should also be held responsible for the actions of his employees.

The shooter was the owner, I believe.

There is a story in last week's Albany Journal that the Sheriff of Do. Co. would not let ABC Bonds to open another business in Do. Co.

If more of 'em got shot, there'd be less of 'em.
