ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department officers were successful in catching a burglary suspect they had been looking for.
The APD Investigations Division solicited assistance in locating Derrick Rodriquez Brown, 41, who is suspected of being involved in a burglary, authorities said.
Following the receipt of a tip, Brown was apprehended without incident at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the 2100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and taken to the Dougherty County Jail, officials say.
He was wanted in connection to a burglary at Murphy USA, 252 Cordele Road, that took place on May 13, officials say.
