ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 50 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Arson, a vehicle fire on the 1400 block of East highland Avenue;
-- Forgery on the 2800 block of Nottingham Way;
-- Theft by taking on the 2600 block of Dawson Road, the 1100 block of Benjamin Avenue, the 600 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 500 block of Seventh Avenue and the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
-- Burglary on the 1200 block of Whispering Pines Road and the 400 block of Williams Street;
-- Entering auto on the 400 block of Philema Road and the 1100 block of University Drive;
-- Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 900 block of West Whitney Avenue;
-- Injured person on the 2300 block of Hubert Avenue;
-- Recovered property, a trailer on the 2200 block of Old Dominion Court and a vehicle stolen from Lee County on the 700 block of Holloway Avenue;
-- Aggravated assault on the 300 block of West Oakridge Drive;
-- Assault (domestic) on the 900 block of Willow Wood Drive;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 900 block of Leisure Court, the 1500 block of Whiting Drive, the 700 block of Cotton Avenue, the 2600 block of Gillionville Road, the 800 block of Corn Avenue and the 900 block of West Whitney Avenue.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 53 calls on Wednesday.
There were 39 medical calls and 14 trauma calls. Medical Calls and trauma calls included, but were not limited to, six respiratory issues, five chest pains, 19 various medical calls and 10 vehicle crash victims.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to seven incidents, including three activated alarms, unattended cooking, cable line down, gas heater pilot light out and water heater leak.
