Along with a Republican House and Senate..........it should go a long way to getting the country back on track, reducing debt and deficits, and renewed leadership by a President who uses his Bully Pulpit to UNITE our country rather than DIVIDE it..............Hey, thanks for asking!!

It will be a great deal better than the "hope and change" thing we were promised. We sure as heck can't afford 4 more years of that crap.

Kind of like our current President, huh? I believe he was the one who promised to change the way business was done in Washington and then promptly used his power and Democratic controlled congress to get the Health Care bill passed even though when polled the majority of the American public thought it was a bad idea.

As a matter of fact isn't that what the majority of politicians do...promise one thing to get elected and then they do what they want after they are elected? Of course, that is only until it comes time for re-election and then they do the same thing over and over again and as sheep the American people keep voting them in.

This great country is on the verge of bankruptcy and the leaders we have elected either are too stupid to realize it or just do not care. Based on what he was able to do as the Michigan government I am willing to give Romney a chance to do the same as our President. He certainly cannot do any worse than the current one and I would "hope" he could do significantly better.

And remember Obama care was passed as a law BEFORE the law was written. Lets hear the screams should the republicans do the same thing.

0

LuLu 1 year, 10 months ago

And WHO wrote that law? It was written by Robert Creamer -- husband of the ADMITTED Socialist "Democrat" representative from Illinois, Jan Schakowsky, WHILE he was serving time in prison for sixteen counts of bank fraud. I'll gladly take Bush and his policies ANY day over the Communists and the corruption we have now.

2

FryarTuk 1 year, 10 months ago

Wrong! The law was fundamentally a replication of the law Mitt Romney had written, passed and implemented in MA. At one point even the gilded governor acknowledged it.

Know this squawk is from a true Albanian. Dumber than dirt.

If anybody tells a bunch of lies and BS to get himself elected, it's that Flip Flopper Obuma. He's taking credit for everything that is going good that he had nothing to do with. Just like the gas prices, when the prices were going up, he said he could not do anything about it, now that gas prices are dropping down, he is taking credit for it, and you want to say Romney is a flip flopper? It was a farce and through deceit that Obuma got elected in the first place. People said they were worried about McCain, saying he was just a heartbeat away, well it is almost 4 years later and McCain;s heart is still beating.

what we've got in the White house now is an ethnic version of the Beverly Hillbillies...an embarrassment to every intelligent, decent and hardworking American ....and....the rest of the world is laughing at us......

0

Hawk59 1 year, 10 months ago

Wrong beartrap , the rest of the world has been laughing at us for quite sometime already. Question; do any of you ever travel abroad? If so, you would know that most of the world not only laugh at us, but hate us as well. Wonder why?

Kay523 1 year, 10 months ago

It will be good for the Democrats if Romney gets in there and tears down social security, medicare, education and the environment. The surge in the 2014 elections will take all the GOP power out of Congress.

0

VSU 1 year, 10 months ago

That stuff you mentioned is already in the process of being torn down, so you can't blame Romney for that.

0

FryarTuk 1 year, 10 months ago

You are absolutely right about that! The extremist right will completely dismantle the American process and replace it with a medieval system of vassalage and serfdom.

0

gotanyfacts 1 year, 10 months ago

Specifics, please! What process and what policy/action proposed to bring us to "vassalage and serfdom"?

0

FryarTuk 1 year, 10 months ago

Plenty of facts, plenty of statistics, a lot of reason. Look at the changes in income of American families. The hording of money by American businesses. The difference in life events for working people, with regard to number of jobs families have to have just to exist. There are plenty of facts. Remember what the great Disraeli said, there are three kinds of lies, damned lies and statistics. Use your reason.

0

gotanyfacts 1 year, 10 months ago

Again, What process will be dismantled? What policies/actions (just one for a start) have led to the vague conditions to which you allude? The so called hoarding you speak of, businesses keeping their cash instead of expanding, is due to Obama's threats of higher taxes and increased regulation which will raise the costs of operations and make those businesses less profitable and more likely to fail. Saying there are plenty of facts does not make it so. Facts dear Fryar...facts!

0

FryarTuk 1 year, 10 months ago

It's reason, old boy. Reason! You are dismissive of facts and you supply absurd explanations for companies holding onto their huge profits. Where do you suppose they earned them? You have to use facts with reason, they don't create resolutions on their own. Three of the most telling developments from the far right which sums up their male white apartheid intent is 1- gerrymandering GA legislative districts to create an all black Democratic caucus and all white GOP; 2-requiring photo registration for voting (with the false claim it corrects voter fraud, there being none); 3- sexually assaulting women who for medical reasons have to consult physicians for pregnancy issues. No one can even begin to explain these away. It's reason, old boy, reason.

gotanyfacts 1 year, 10 months ago

It really is difficult to defend your statements when you have no facts to support them, isn’t it? Reason? I gave you a reason for business to hold on to its capital. Give me your idea. Please, tell me "where" you think the companies earned their profits.

You are correct that it takes reasoning, or logical thought, to make use of facts to come up with reasonable conclusions. One has to be careful not to manipulate his thinking process just to maintain a preconceived idea. Then, you need to understand the facts you work with. (1) Gerrymandering has been in use by political groups for their advantage throughout our history. The dems do it when they get the chance. In the case you mention, the purpose was not to create either black or white districts. The majority black districts that result are due to the fact that blacks vote overwhelmingly democratic, not because of the color of their skin. (2) Voter ID is extremely logical. Your contention that it does not correct fraud is vacuous. It does reduce the ease and therefore the frequency of fraud. There is really no argument against it other than some inconvenience to some people. Groups claiming it to be unfair have been deeply involved with voter fraud (ACORN). Heaven help us if convenience was a primary concern in the founding of our nation. (3) Your choice of wording regarding some states requiring ultrasound (in Virginia, trans-vaginal ultrasound was initially required, but changed due to protests) indicates you avoid stating a fact simply and honestly: “sexually assaulting”, “pregnancy issues” do not give clarity to the proposed law. Perhaps clarity is a problem for the goals you seek. Do you have a problem with the effort to give a woman a better understanding of the life she is thinking of ending?

VSU 1 year, 10 months ago

Answer this Coach, if Obuma was white and Romney was black, would you still be voting for Obuma? My guess is you would vote for Romney.

0

Somebody 1 year, 10 months ago

You haven't answered my question coach, course no need to, we know what your answer is.
