Police/Fire/EMS report for November 3, 2012

ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 43 incidents Thursday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Armed robbery on the 400 block of Alice Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 800 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 100 block of Front Street and the 2700 block of Dawson Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 500 block of Emily Avenue;

— Battery on the 700 block of Ninth Avenue;

— Theft by taking on the 2400 block of Nottingham Way;

— Assault on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Computer theft on the 2500 block of Dawson Road;

— Burglary on the 1100 block of Van Deman Street, the 300 block of South Mock Road, the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue, the 1900 block of Cobblestone Court, the 500 block of South Harding Street and the 2700 block of Yorktown Drive;

— Injured person on the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Loitering on the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

—Assault (domestic) on the 2400 block of South Jackson Street;

— Larceny (domestic) on the 2400 block of Bassford Lane;

— Violation of family protection order (domestic) on the 300 block of Swift Street;

— Domestic (unfounded) on the 600 block of 16th Avenue, the 1200 block of East Residence Avenue, the 1100 block of University Street, the 1100 block of Benjamin Avenue, the 1300 block of Tift Avenue, the 500 block of Bobbitt Drive, the 700 block of Baldwin Drive, the 1200 block of West Lincoln Avenue and the 1300 block of Sharon Drive.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least nine calls, according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

— Hit and run, traffic crash, no Injuries and minor damage on the 2400 block of South County Line Road;

DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: .364The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 74 calls on Thursday.

There were 59 medical calls, 14 trauma calls and one participation in a disaster drill. Medical Calls and trauma calls included but were not limited to:

— Fifteen respiratory issues, 11 chest pains, two diabetic calls, two seizures, 25 various medical calls, nine vehicle crash calls and two falls.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 10 incidents.

— Three electrical shorts, two activated alarms, broken power pole, vehicle crash, false alarm, clothes dryer fire and a grass fire.
