Former President Jimmy Carter is scheduled to teach Sunday School this Sunday at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains.
EVENTS
New Salem Baptist Church in Colquitt will hold an ordination service at 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. James Bush bringing the message. Bush will speak during the deacon ordination services for Carlos Williams and Tony Roberts. Bush, a graduate of Albany State University, owns a jury consulting firm, Bush Ventures Inc. He and his wife, Kim, have four children.
Sajuana Wilson-Williams will be the guest speaker for the Albany City Federation Day Program on Sunday, Nov. 11, at 3 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Free Will Baptist Church, 1007 W. Lincoln Avenue.
A program of gospel music is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. today at the old Sumner school building in Worth County. Featured will be Jeremiah 29 and Higher Praise. For more information, call (229) 271-8096.
